System Overview
- Scheduler: Slurm.
- Security: Designed to align with NIST 800-171 standards for research involving sensitive data. During the current early-access phase, only non-sensitive, non-controlled data may be used.
- Compute: General-purpose CPU compute with parallel CPU support, plus interactive access through Open OnDemand.
- Role: A companion to the main Unity platform providing an environment with elevated security practices for sensitive-data workloads.
Sanctuary is a secure compute cluster for workloads that need HPC in a secure environment. It is being built to complement the Unity platform for research that requires elevated security practices.
Sanctuary is currently early access for technical testing only. For more information, contact us at hpc@umass.edu
